Aardram Mission
Aardram focuses on upgrading Primary Health Centers (PHCs) to Family Health Centers (FHCs), enhancing infrastructure, and standardizing services across primary, secondary, and tertiary care settings. The program emphasizes preventive and promotive healthcare, community participation, and leveraging technology to improve healthcare delivery.
Radio Health Programme
Radio Health is a radio-based health literacy program conceived and implemented by NHM, Kerala since 2008.The focus of Radio Health is to propagate health related knowledge to every quarter of society, especially the grass root level. It has been spreading health awareness messages of NHM through all Kerala stations of AII India Radio (Akashvani AM Stations- Monday to Friday @ 10am and Ananthapuri FM -All days @ 2.30pm) Radio Health has played a considerable role in promoting health literacy in the state.
Aardhrakeralam Puraskaram
Aardhrakeralam Puraskaram is a recognition to the best performing Local Self Governments aimed for improving involvement in health and health related activities since 2013-14. In every year, a judgment Committee chaired by Director of Health Services and an Appellate Authority chaired by SMD NHM will be formed. We have included areas of social audit mainly, ANC, PNC, NCD, Palliative care and Communicable diseases prevention, KAYAKALPA,NQAS in the checklist of Aardhrakeralam Puraskaram. The first level short listing exclusively by Information Kerala Mission is based on the % of allocation and expenditure of the fund in the health and health related sector by LSGIs Based on this, field Inspection of the shortlisted LSGIs by the trained team by the neighboring districts and submit the report to state in the case of Grama Panchayats. State Field Inspection will be done after the second shortlisting by the state field inspection team. Final list which is approved by the Judgment Committee chaired by the Director of Health Services.
