Directorate of Homoeopathy (DH)
Mission
- To provide equitable access to comprehensive healthcare through Homoeopathy, affordable to the public by means of a network of well-equipped healthcare institutions served by accountable, competent & motivated professionals responsive to the needs of the society, maintaining a new culture of holistic approach
Vision
- Ensure provision of quality healthcare service through standardized Homoeopathic management to the people of Kerala.
The Department of Homoeopathy is committed to expanding and strengthening homoeopathic healthcare services across the state. Our primary objective is to establish permanent homoeopathic healthcare facilities in all panchayats, ensuring accessible and quality treatment for all. We aim to enhance our services by opening specialized outpatient clinics (OPs) in vulnerable locations such as coastal areas, tribal regions, and metropolitan cities, along with setting up specialty inpatient (IP) facilities in district hospitals.
Additionally, we plan to extend comprehensive laboratory facilities in district hospitals and establish a dedicated Research & Development wing to advance homoeopathic medicine. To improve efficiency and accessibility, we are also working towards the full computerization of all dispensaries. In alignment with the Central Government’s directives and the Supreme Court’s guidelines, we support an integrated healthcare approach where homoeopathy, allopathy, and Ayurveda function under a unified system at the primary healthcare level in panchayats.
