The Principal & Controlling Officer, Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College, Manacaud P.O, Thiruvananthapuram – 695009 is the  Controlling  Officer of the Homoeopathic Medical Education in the State.

The Colleges under Homoeopathic Medical Education Department has provide better learning facilities for students and the Government Colleges provide research facilities for students and Teachers interested in research activities. The main aim of this Department is the enhancement of Educational standard and the upgradation of research activities in Homoeopathy. The Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College, Kozhikode established in 1975 is the first Homoeopathic Medical College in Kerala and first Govt. Homoeopathic Medical Degree College in Asia. The Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram started functioning during 1980. Both the institutions are the best Homoeopathic institutions in India. The colleges are affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences since 2010. The colleges have prominent Faculty and established Alumni. The attached hospitals are provided regular O.Ps and various Special O.Ps with well-equipped clinical and research laboratories to do various investigations.
