New building for Mattul Govt. Ayurveda Hospital
13 November 2025Foundation stone laid for new building of Mattul Govt. Ayurveda Hospital. The foundation stone laying for the new building being constructed for Mattul Govt. Ayurveda Hospital in Kannur district through the National Ayush Mission was also inaugurated online by Health, Women and Child Welfare Department Minister Veena George.
At the event held at Mattul Govt. Ayurveda Hospital, MLA M. Vijin unveiled the plaque. As per the National Ayush Mission state annual plan, one crore rupees has been allocated for the new building. The building, with an area of 2238 square feet, will include on the ground floor: waiting area, consulting room, panchakarma room, ward, toilet, differently-abled friendly toilet, and differently-abled friendly entrance gate; and on the first floor: pay ward, panchakarma room, ward, toilet, and differently-abled friendly toilet.
