161 Public Health Centres Renovated in Malappuram District
19 December 2025Bringing renewed momentum to public healthcare, 161 public health centres in Malappuram district have been renovated. In addition, 18 public health centres have been newly constructed. Sub-centres were upgraded into public health centres with the aim of delivering comprehensive primary healthcare at the grassroots level. Along with improved physical infrastructure, these centres also provide enhanced services. A total of 581 public health centres are functioning in the district.
