Mittayi Clinic
Mittayi Clinic is established in the Sree Avittam Thirunal (SAT) Hospital under the Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram for the treatment of Type1 Diabetes Mellitus. Mittayi Clinic for patients with Type-1 Diabetes with provisions for Insulin treatment, Glucose monitoring strips, Insulin pump treatment and Recreational activities for patients. 5 patients with uncontrolled Type1 Diabetes are benefitted by Insulin pumps provided from the Mittayi clinic. This clinic offers educational programs to raise awareness about Type 1 diabetes in children and their parents.
