The baseless allegations being made on social media about the state's financial stability and the state of the treasury are completely untrue. For the first time in Kerala's history, the state is currently at a stage where its total expenditure for a financial year will cross Rs. 2 lakh crore.

As part of providing modern treatment facilities, steps have been taken to install an MRI machine at a cost of Rs. 9 crore and a CT scan has been set up at a cost of Rs. 5 crore. A state-of-the-art virology lab, which helps in quick identification of viral diseases including Nipah, a cardiology OP block, a renovated labor room at a cost of Rs. 1.20 crore, and a pediatric ICU are ready for operation. In addition, the construction of a critical care block at a cost of Rs. 23.75 crore is in progress.
