One Citizen One Health Record; Booking the OP Ticket through Online
As part of the public health care programs in Kerala, a new service has been implemented by the Health Department of Kerala. As part of the e-health program, 303 government hospitals have been equipped with a system for online booking of OP tickets and the time slots for doctor’s appointments. This list of hospitals includes family health centers to medical college hospitals. The new facility was introduced as part of the e-health project. Akshaya centers will help the patients to book OP tickets online.
The registration process is as follows: For identification number, one has to log onto the website https://ehealth.kerala.gov.in and click register.
Once the Aadhar number is submitted, an OTP will be sent to the registered phone number. By submitting this, the online personal health identification number will be assigned.
On the first login, a 16-digit personal health identification number and password will be sent on your mobile phone. This must be saved.
Appointments can be booked using this number and password. For booking the appointment log in to the portal using the identification number and password, click on ‘New Appointment’.If it is a referral, select the hospital details and department after marking that information. Upon selecting the date, the token available for that day will be displayed. The token can be printed, if necessary. Token details will also be sent to the phone as SMS.
