A new system has been introduced in Thiruvananthapuram Medical College for availing various lab test results through mobile phones. The service can be availed by mobile number verification at the time of OP registration or at the time of billing at the lab. A link will be sent to the mobile as a test message. Click on that link to get the test result. That link will be active for 90 days. The first phase of the initiative is implemented in connection with the e-health project.  The project is introduced as part of the quality improvement initiative of the medical college. As per this project sample, the collection center and test result collection center of the hospital have been integrated. It also enables the patients of different blocks of the hospital can avail their test results in their respective blocks. 

The test results of the labs HDS, RGCB, and ACR of Medical College Hospital are available 24 hours from the unified result counter inside the hospital. Efforts are also in progress to make available the test results of patients in the concerned wards.
