In a significant step towards strengthening healthcare services in the district, advanced facilities for the management of lifestyle diseases have been made available at the District Hospital Palakkad through the 360 Degree Metabolic Centre. The initiative aims to provide comprehensive care for people affected by lifestyle-related conditions by bringing multiple essential services together under one roof.

Through this facility, patients can access screening, consultation, treatment, and guidance related to lifestyle diseases in a more convenient and coordinated manner. The service is expected to improve early detection and effective management of conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and other metabolic disorders, thereby enhancing the overall quality of healthcare available to the public.

The project has been implemented with the support of the District Panchayat, which has allocated ₹45 lakh for establishing the facility. This initiative marks an important milestone in improving public health services in the district and reflects the continued efforts to ensure accessible, patient-friendly, and comprehensive healthcare for the community.
