As the world is under one of the worst pandemic of COVID19, it has brought on the forefront the need of collaboration and synergy. Kerala Health has been taking various initiatives, it is felt that a structured mechanism to be established to engage with people that should be direct and transparent. With this objective, a new initiative of solution exchange is planned. The solution exchange platform is introduced in the Kerala health portal www.health.kerala.gov.in
The Government of India declared Sub National TB Free Certification Award for Kerala state for reducing the TB incidence by 37.5% over the last 5 years. Kerala is the only state in the state category found eligible for the award. The sub national certification TB Free award was declared after a robust epidemiological evaluation lasting for one month in the state conducted by an independent verification group consisting of ICMR- National Institute of Epidemiology, World Health Organisation and Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine.
